Kew Little Pigs June Newsletter

Over the past month, five litters of piglets have been born and one birth was a complete surprise...we now have over 30 piglets on the farm, all just a few weeks apart in age. Squeaks farrowed her first litter in early May, Daisy and Simone fast following, then a surprise litter from Freida and next Mia farrowed ten piglets over the Bank Holiday Weekend. And we are expecting more litters from Jill, as well as Peanut, this summer!

As well as a busy few weeks on the farm with piglets galore and lots of visitors over the half term, the Show Pigs have also been very busy going out and about to events. Bart & Lisa visited the reception classes at Stokenchurch Primary School, followed by lots of off site parties with four birthday parties in one week! This weekend we are also looking forward to hosting two children's birthday parties at the farm! Please email info@kewlitlepigs.com if you're interested in hiring Bart & Lisa for your event.

We've also been working hard on the marketing side of the business and are pleased to be featured in The Bucks Herald 'All About Animals' column online which will also be printed in the paper next week! Plus we've enjoyed welcoming influencers to our farm who have been promoting us on social media...make sure to follow us to see lots of piggy cuteness:

 

As always, piglets are selling fast and will be going to their new homes when they are 8 weeks old. We have now opened up Squeaks', Daisy's and Simone's pens for visitors to meet their piglets, so make sure to book your visit in before they move homes!
