Are you a school, children’s club, or social activity group looking to host an educational event with a difference?
Our visits offer the chance to get an insight into the fascinating behavioural characteristics of micro pigs!
The Kew Little Pigs experience has been adapted to provide opportunities for Foundation, Infant, and Junior (Primary) school children, with links across the Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary Curriculum. Although at present Kew Little Pigs education shows are targeted at Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 & 2, our services can be adapted to provide educational experiences for Key Stage 3 and above.
If you'd like to book a visit to your school, please fill out the enquiry form at the bottom of this page.
We can also attend school Fetes and Fairs!
Option to include the following with all money raised to go directly to the school:
- 'Guess The Name of The Pig' - £2 a name with 200 names
- Pet The Pig - £2 each
We provide prizes, hand sanitising facilities & grooming equipment. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements as this can be tailored to your needs.
Visit us at The Farm
Your school or group can also book to visit our pigs at the farm in Amersham, observing them in their environment as well as entering the petting pen areas and playing/petting. It’s a fantastic 2-hour experience where the children become mini pig keepers, helping with chores at the farm. These include: feeding the pigs, brushing them, and topping up hay nets, etc.
The price for this is £12.50 per child (normal price £25.00).
A limited amount of adults, teachers, parents, or helpers are free depending on the size of the booking, but we suggest 1 adult per 4-5 children for supervision. A member of staff will be assigned to each school booking, that is why it is important for schools to have suitable staff helpers.
All children receive a certificate for their participation in this activity which is suitable for children from 4 to 16 years old. This is also suitable for guides, brownies, home-schooling and other youth groups.
