Oink on tour! Kew Little Pigs’ show stars take centre stage as bookings soar

They're the porcine performers melting hearts across the country — and business is booming for the show pigs of Kew Little Pigs, who have been busier than ever as spring sunshine sparks a flurry of bookings.

George, Astrid and Juniper — the farm’s charming trio of miniature pig celebrities — have become sought-after stars of everything from weddings and office parties to art classes and even cinema screenings. This week alone, the adorable ambassadors trotted over to the Florence Nightingale Museum for a special wildlife drawing session, captivating attendees with their snouts and snuffles.

“They absolutely love the attention,” said Olivia Mikhail, owner of Kew Little Pigs, based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. “It’s been wonderfully busy lately — the better weather means more events, and that gives us the opportunity to spread the joy of pigs as beautiful, intelligent, sentient animals.”

The show pigs, who travel in style via their very own custom 'pigmobile', have had a packed schedule this month. In addition to the Florence Nightingale Museum visit, they wowed guests at a 40th birthday party and posed for budding artists at Dulwich Picture Gallery.

And it’s not just about meet-and-greets. Behind the scenes, the Easter holidays brought flocks of young animal lovers to the farm for ‘Junior Pig Keeper’ days, while three lucky families collected their very own pet pigs, carefully matched to their new homes.

This Thursday, the farm will deliver two more miniature pigs to their new home in the Cotswolds, with another pair set to trot off to Glasgow later in the month.

Founded with the mission of promoting ethical pig ownership, Kew Little Pigs is the UK’s leading ethical breeder of miniature pigs as pets. Olivia's team takes pride in preparing new pig parents through comprehensive training and support, ensuring every animal enjoys a high quality of life.

And the farm’s ambitions don’t stop at the UK border. Determined to expand despite post-Brexit transport challenges, Kew Little Pigs has recently forged a partnership in Ireland, allowing them to continue spreading their message of responsible pig ownership across Europe.

“We believe that sharing our ethical best practices as far and wide as possible is not only good for the pigs, but for future owners too,” added Olivia.
