Kew Little Pigs wins TripAdvisor accolade as micropig farm named among best in the world
As Seen On Buckinghamshire Live
"A farm in Buckinghamshire has been named as one of the world's best animal days out by TripAdvisor reviewers. Users of the travel and leisure website have heralded Kew Little Pigs, much to the delight of its owner Olivia Mikhail.
Kew Little Pigs, found in Old Amersham, has therefore received the coveted Travellers Choice award for the third year in a row. The award is determined by user reviews on TripAdvisor, taking into account customer satisfaction following their visit.
Kew Little Pigs has consistently impressed visitors, earning glowing reviews for its fun and engaging day out. Founded in 2009 by Olivia Mikhail, Kew Little Pigs was inspired by her daughter's love for the classic stories 'Charlotte's Web' and 'Babe'.
Olivia said: "Awards are always nice, but usually we are just focussed on running the farm. However, to be named among the world's best animal attractions feels like particular cause for celebration.
"We love what we do, and most importantly our animals are happy and well cared for, and we think that must shine through when visitors spend time here." The farm offers visitors hands-on experiences with adorable micropigs, promoting an ethical approach to animal interaction.
Over the years, Kew Little Pigs has expanded its operations beyond just being a tourist attraction. It now boasts a thriving outdoor events and outreach programme, where pigs visit schools, care homes, fetes and other community-focused schemes.
In addition to providing memorable experiences for visitors, Kew Little Pigs is also the UK's leading ethical breeder of micropigs. The farm supplies pets to those who wish to welcome a little pig into their home".
