Comprehensive Guide to Pig Keeping
An in-depth 3-hour miniature pig course at award-winning Kew Little Pigs in Old Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
This experience is an in-depth look at Pig Husbandry and ensures that you have the knowledge you need to be able to house, care for and enjoy owning your very own micro pig.
The course will last 3-hours, which will include:
✔ One-hour practical experience covering Pig Husbandry
✔ One-hour learning about the Responsibilities & Requirements for keeping pigs + learning about health & safety, equipment, behaviours, pig handling and much more.
✔ One-hour meeting the pigs, getting to know them and even picking out your own pet piglet if you are ready.
On completion of the course you will receive:
✔ All relevant Animal Health & DEFRA Publications
✔ A Kew Little Pig Owners Guide
✔ A certificate of participation
Olivia Mikhail, the creator and owner of award winning Kew Little Pigs, will be your tutor. She has over 11 years of experience with pig husbandry, and with owning and breeding miniature pigs.

Times and Prices:
Adult Ticket (Aged 16+) = £100 Per Person
Child Ticket (3 - 15) = £45 Per Person
(All children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult)
This course runs on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s*
*Dependant on Owners availability
Facilities on site include toilets, shop, free parking and outdoor seating areas.
What to wear:
This is a hands on course so please be sure to wear clothes that you are happy to get dirty and prepare for the weather. The course will run come rain or shine!
You must wear closed shoes to participate, preferably wellies or waterproof shoes.
