Recycle your pumpkin with us, and enjoy our Halloween Extravaganza!
A Bucks animal attraction is appealing for leftover Halloween pumpkins, which will make a great snack for the farm's adorable pigs.
Kew Little Pigs, which is based in Old Amersham, is happy to take any pumpkin leftovers, which will be gratefully recycled by the farm's residents.
As well as reducing food waste, recycling your pumpkin also saves it from going to landfill, where it will rot and cause environmentally unfriendly methane.
Olivia Mikhail, owner of Kew Little Pigs, said: "Our pigs simply love a pumpkin snack, so please do think of us when you are thinking about what to do with yours!
"They also love windfall apples, acorns and leftovers from allotments so do give us a shout if you have anything going spare!"
To donate simply bring your items along to the farm, or if you have a large donation email office@kewlittlepigs.com to discuss a drop off.
To celebrate the spooky season Kew Little Pigs is running a Halloween Extravaganza, which sees the farm be fully decorated with ghoulish surprises. There are also free sweets on offer for kids, and a spooky trail to enjoy.
From the 26th of October to the 3rd of November for the Halloween Extravaganza tickets are discounted Adults £22 (saving £12) children £15 (saving (£10).
