NATIONAL SUNSCREEN DAY 27TH May 2020

Today is national SUNSCREEN day! (also known as “Don't Fry Day”)
This week has been a scorcher and the hot weather is set to continue- It's a perfect time to get in the habit of looking after your skin!
It's important to cover pigs in sunscreen, they need a high factor as they have very sensitive skin that is exposed to the elements. We make sure all the piggies on the KLP farm are covered in cream which we top up a few times each day. Sun-screening a piglet is more challenging than larger pigs,  they tend to run around treating it like a game!
