Larkside Care Home visit

KLP enjoyed a fabulous day at the Larkside Care home in Banbury on March 10th. 

Olivia and Morgan  took Show Pig's Bill and Ted on another excellent adventure in the pig mobile to meet residents of Larkside for their 'farm Day' event. 

Joined by two gorgeous donkeys from Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary  who KLP had met previously at the UK Pet Show,  Bill and Ted had a lovely time meeting residents who thoroughly enjoyed brushing and feeding them. 

Pigs make great therapy pets for those suffering emotional distress, loneliness, illness or just simply to help individuals unwind and relax. 

Research has shown that  animals can promote a number of health and emotional benefits in people. Our showpigs are selected and trained to work across a variety of industries from film, Pr and Tv through to residential care homes and schools.
