The famous Living Nature Highland Cow (otherwise known here in Scotland as a Heilan’ Coo!) is a wonderful plush crafted to look like the real thing.
This farmyard stuffed animal which is based on a rustic breed of cattle from the Scottish Islands and the Outer Hebrides, has a long shaggy coat, long pointed horns and built-in sound! Press his hoof to hear him “Moo!”.
As their name suggests, the Highland Cow originates from the Scottish Highlands. No wonder then that they are covered from head to toe in fur. Their shaggy coat isn’t hard to miss and keeps them warm in this cold climate. They come in all sorts of colours – yellow, black and even white, but the most popular is our ginger friend.
They are so light-footed they make a natural choice for conservation grazing.

“I joined the team in September of 2021 as a Farm Hand. This was my first proper job and the experience was very insightful as working with animals there is never a dull moment. I have always loved animals and have had many different animals growing up such as guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and horses so I knew the animal industry was a career I would like to be involved in. Since joining Kew Little Pigs Farm I have had the opportunity to care for the animals and share my knowledge with all the customers that have visited the farm. I was promoted to Head Farm Hand in January 2023.
