European pig sales are quite simple, as there is no need for quarantine. Importing a micro pig into another country can be a lengthy process as there are many procedures to go through in order to legally import a pig.
Our pigs are born and raised in Galway Ireland and exported to Europe by road or air from Dublin
Please see our simple steps below on how we import pigs:
When purchasing a micro pig from us, we will provide the neccessary paperwork required to be compliant with the Code of Recommendations and DEFRA
We complete the necessary application forms and certificates . This can be a lengthy process that will result in a certificate being issued, which a vet will have to sign before export.
An export approved local official vet will come out to inspect the pigs health and insure they’re fit to travel
We order a transport box from an animal agent in Dublin Airport that is compliant with Animals in transit guidelines.
Flights are booked by Dublin Airport animal agency.
Pigs are then transported to their country of destination from Dublin Airport or by road from Dublin Sea Port.
** You would need to contact your country of import to find out their regulations on importing**

Millie - Head Farm Hand
“I joined the team in September of 2021 as a Farm Hand. This was my first proper job and the experience was very insightful as working with animals there is never a dull moment. I have always loved animals and have had many different animals growing up such as guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and horses so I knew the animal industry was a career I would like to be involved in. Since joining Kew Little Pigs Farm I have had the opportunity to care for the animals and share my knowledge with all the customers that have visited the farm. I was promoted to Head Farm Hand in January 2023.
I look forward to my journey here at Kew Little Pigs Farm and hope to see you on the farm soon!”
