**You would need to contact your country of import to find out their regulations on importing**
Importing a micro pig to an non-EU country can take a little longer as the pigs will need to be quarantined , this can be anywhere from 21 days, up until 60 days, depending on the destination. During this time, blood samples will be taken to ensure the pigs are fit to travel.

We did a lot of research over a few years, and Kew Little Pigs were absolutely great. It was such a wonderful moment bringing her home to surprise my children Olivia and Oscar I went to get her while they were at school. When they got home they came out onto the veranda and there she was, and Olivia just fell to her knees and cried, she picked Biscuit up and they hit it off straight away. She has brought so much love and joy into our lives. She sleeps in our house at night on her dog bed, and she has blankets in it for rooting a nuzzling. At night time she knows when it’s time to settle down. We have a pool in the garden and she goes in for a swim. She has her own pool float that she likes to sit on too.

People don't realise what amazing alternative pets pigs make. I think they are fantastic. They are so intelligent, and you can have real interactions with them. They are actually very easy to look after, and very clean. People are coming around to thinking of them as pets a bit more and I think that is a really good thing.

Like a dog the pigs have a 15-year life span, so we are taking our responsibilities very seriously. We first went to Kew Little Pigs just for a day out as it isn't far from where we lived, we heard about the pig-keeping courses and were heavily interested, I couldn't believe how easy it was for the whole thing to actually happen. There are lots of rules to follow, but everyone is really helpful, they are just like any other pet. When we moved into our house the retired previous owners had used the garden for allotment plots, but being busy and working we didn't really have time to keep up with it, and the pigs now have the perfect environment.

I wanted to adopt Mavis so that the people who meet me would see pigs in a different way. I have always wanted to adopt a micro pig, but then we went to Kew Little Pigs as a birthday day out for my friend and it went from wanting to feeling like I really needed one! I've always given the animals old fashioned names, names that feel like they are cute but on the verge of funny too. I wanted to adopt her because when people meet her they will see a different side to pigs that they don't think about normally. They will see that pigs are no different to their dogs and cats, and maybe think about things a bit more.

Kew Little Pigs have been brilliant, I had read horror stories about some places that sell standard piglets as micro pigs and lie about their ages, so I’m so glad I did my research and found Kew. Adopting Wilbur has been wonderful, he’s like a dog, but more too!

Our darling pigs are such a wonderful addition to our family. They are really cheeky, loving, sociable and are such a joy to have around. They are super easy to look after but just make sure you train them and stick to a schedule so they don't bully you for treats all the time 🙂

We have had our two mini pigs Lula and Rocco for almost 2 years now, they are a huge part of our family and have earned themselves many nicknames due to their unique personalities and traits. Lula loves a belly rub and is very talkative whilst Rocco is happiest snouting through our shaggy rug. They have a very close bond and will snuggle up snout to snout under their blankets together.

We were hoping to find the perfect friend for our current pig, Smudge, who we bought back in 2016 from Kew Little Pigs. Olivia was so helpful and I received quick responses, helping to find Smudge his perfect match. ! Rosie-May was delivered to us and she is so gentle, inquisitive and loving - just as described to us. She is an amazing pig and is already enjoying her new lift with Smudge. Thank you to Olivia & the rest of the Team at Kew Little Pigs!

“I joined the team in September of 2021 as a Farm Hand. This was my first proper job and the experience was very insightful as working with animals there is never a dull moment. I have always loved animals and have had many different animals growing up such as guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and horses so I knew the animal industry was a career I would like to be involved in. Since joining Kew Little Pigs Farm I have had the opportunity to care for the animals and share my knowledge with all the customers that have visited the farm. I was promoted to Head Farm Hand in January 2023.
I look forward to my journey here at Kew Little Pigs Farm and hope to see you on the farm soon!”
