All set for Christmas fun, and here’s a cheeky discount code from us!

Kew Little Pigs is gearing up for its busiest  and most magical festive season yet.

Our hugely popular Santa and the Pigs experience has already sold out, with families snapping up tickets weeks in advance. But for those still hoping for a dose of porcine-themed Christmas cheer, there’s good news: the farm remains open throughout December for festive Pet & Play sessions, Christmas shopping, and even private Christmas parties where guests can celebrate among the snuffling, sociable stars of the show.

Tucked into the Buckinghamshire countryside close to Old Amersham High Street, Kew Little Pigs has long championed a shop local ethos, and this year the team is encouraging visitors to support small businesses by choosing gifts from its on-site shop and the nearby retailers in the town.

From unique pig-themed merchandise to farm experience vouchers, every purchase helps fund the care of the animals, all of whom live long, happy lives far from the industrial farming world.

And while Christmas is a time for giving, the farm is already thinking ahead to the New Year. Three litters of miniature piglets have arrived in recent weeks, and the farm’s ethical breeding programme, operated in partnership with its Irish sister farm, means that a number of carefully reared, well-socialised piglets will be looking for approved forever homes across Europe and the UK in 2026.

Owner Olivia Mikhail says the festive period always brings a flurry of excitement.

“Christmas at the farm is truly magical,” she said. “We love seeing families create memories here, especially at this time of year. Even though Santa and the Pigs has sold out, there’s still so much for people to enjoy, from meeting our piglets to doing their Christmas shopping in a way that supports local, ethical businesses.

“And as we head into the new year, we’ll have some very special piglets ready for loving homes. Rehoming is something we take incredibly seriously, pigs are wonderful companions, but they are a lifelong commitment, and we’re proud to lead the way in responsible, ethical pig ownership.”

Visitors can book Pet & Play sessions via the farm’s website and use the code pigsdiscount24 to get 20% off, and those looking for a unique Christmas party venue can also enquire about hiring the farm for a truly unforgettable celebration.

Millie - Head Farm Hand

“I joined the team in September of 2021 as a Farm Hand.  This was my first proper job and the experience was very insightful as working with animals there is never a dull moment. I have always loved animals and have had many different animals growing up such as guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and horses so I knew the animal industry was a career I would like to be involved in. Since joining Kew Little Pigs Farm I have had the opportunity to care for the animals and share my knowledge with all the customers that have visited the farm. I was promoted to Head Farm Hand in January 2023.

I look forward to my journey here at Kew Little Pigs Farm and hope to see you on the farm soon!”
